If you've been staring at my booking page thinking, "Wait… aren't these basically the same thing?" — you're not alone.
Both sessions are 45 minutes. Both focus on your head, face, neck, and shoulders.
But the goal is completely different. And your body can feel that difference the moment we start.
It's doing its job.
If you're clenching, grinding, clicking, waking up with headaches, or feeling that post-work jaw ache that makes you want to scream into the void…
Nothing is wrong with you.
Our jaws hold the story of our day. We clench and grind in our sleep while our brains process all the emotions we didn't have time to feel. We yawn and hear a pop. We wake up already braced.
That's your nervous system responding to a perceived threat.
Sometimes the threat is a car almost hitting you. Sometimes it's an email from your manager. Sometimes it's just being the person everyone relies on.
Your jaw doesn't care what the threat is. It cares whether you feel safe.
TMJ treatment — sometimes called buccal massage in the mainstream — is not a trend. It's hands-on nervous system work through some of the most overworked muscles in your body.
This 45-minute session includes focused work on the head, face, neck, and shoulders. We hit trigger point release for common jaw-referral patterns, external facial work for the muscles that help you chew and speak, and, when appropriate — only with your consent — intraoral work inside the mouth.
I glove up. I explain everything. We go slow.
You can pause, opt out, or change your mind at any point. If you've had dental trauma, this can be a tender place to return to your body from. We move at the speed of trust — yours.
TMJ dysfunction is rarely resolved in a single session. That's why I offer a 6-session package designed to support a real treatment arc — not a quick fix.
Book a TMJ Treatment if you're dealing with: jaw pain, clicking or popping, clenching or grinding, tension headaches, neck or upper back pain that won't quit, or that "locked on" jaw feeling by noon.
Your jaw deserves relief, not more willpower, and we won’t force it.
Crown Sessions are about rest at their core.
It's the closest thing I offer to that ooey-gooey massage high you get after a 90-minute full body session — just focused on your head, face, and neck. Think of it like a power nap for your nervous system. A reset when you're running on empty but can't carve out the full 1.5 hours.
This session increases circulation, softens the tissues of the face and scalp, encourages lymphatic drainage (goodbye, puffiness and pressure), and helps your body drop into parasympathetic. Rest-and-digest. That state we love so much.
This is a beautiful option if you: want a mid-month rest reset, get bodywork regularly and want extra nervous system support between sessions, or just need to feel human again without committing to a longer session.
Because rest is not a luxury. It's your birthright.
Choose TMJ Treatment if your goal is jaw function and symptom relief — clicking, pain, clenching, migraines, grinding.
Choose Crown Session if your goal is deep rest and a full nervous system exhale — you want to soften, drain, and float for a while.
And truly? You can't go wrong either way. Both help your body feel safer.
The intention is what changes. We don't force release here. We invite it.
