I didn’t plan to open a bodywork studio — I just knew I couldn’t keep burning out.
In 2021, I hit a breaking point with the massage industry. I was underpaid, overworked, and in constant pain — migraines, tendonitis, exhaustion. My nervous system was fried. When I took my first barefoot massage training, everything changed.
That one course introduced me to a new kind of touch — slow, grounded, deeply connected. It reminded me that healing happens when we move at the speed of safety, not survival.
I’ve been a licensed massage therapist since 2015, with over a decade of hands-on experience in movement, recovery, and bodywork. But Bodywork by Molly grew from something deeper than a career — it’s a personal reclamation of rest, safety, and autonomy.
Now, I work with people who are navigating chronic pain, hypermobility, autoimmune conditions, and burnout — people who give so much to others that they forget to rest themselves. My approach blends barefoot and Thai-inspired bodywork with a trauma-informed lens, always centered on nervous system regulation, consent, and communication.
Because I believe we are our own medicine.
And healing begins the moment we slow down enough to listen.
This isn’t a spa. It’s a space for nervous system repair.
Each session begins with a conversation — not a formality. You’ll always have choices: how much pressure feels right, how much conversation you want, whether you’d rather stay clothed or be on the mat.
My work combines Barefoot & Integrated Massage, Thai-Stretch Fusion, and TMJ & Crown Treatments, offered with transparency, communication, and care. These sessions are not quick fixes — they’re practices in co-regulation and presence.
You can expect:
Clear boundaries and full consent at every step
A pace that matches your nervous system
Space to rest, release, and reconnect
Bodywork by Molly exists to help you remember what safety feels like in your own body — so you can move through life with more ease, trust, and rest.
We can’t heal at the same speed that burned us out.
Welcome to Suite 205 on Baxter Avenue — your little pocket of calm in the heart of Louisville.
My studio is a light-filled loft tucked inside a historic building near the Highlands. Inside, you’ll find soft textures, gentle lighting, and space to breathe. Free parking is available. When you arrive, take a seat on the comfortable couch just past the bathrooms and text me—I’ll meet you there and bring you into the treatment room.
The space is LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodiverse-friendly, and body-inclusive — built on consent, curiosity, and care. Every element, from the barefoot mat to the heated massage table, invites your body to drop out of survival mode and into rest.
Here, rest is not a luxury. It’s your birthright.
