Focused care for jaw tension, clenching, and the stress that lives in your face.
This is not just a jaw massage. It’s slow, precise bodywork for the jaw, head, neck, shoulders, and face—paced to your nervous system so release feels safe, not forced.
TMJ pain is often a full-system story: clenching, headaches or migraines, ear fullness, neck/shoulder tightness, and stress on repeat. We’ll work the whole pattern with external techniques and, if appropriate and fully consented, optional, gloved intraoral work to access deeper jaw muscles. Clear communication at every step.
Jaw pain, tightness, clicking/locking
Clenching & grinding (awake or asleep)
Tension headaches & migraines
Neck, face, and shoulder pain linked to jaw dysfunction
High-alert nervous systems & burnout patterns
We start with a brief intake to map symptoms and goals. On the table, you’ll stay draped; we’ll address jaw, temples, scalp, neck, and shoulders with slow, targeted work. If intraoral is a fit, I’ll explain it first; it’s always optional, and you can change your mind anytime. Quiet is welcome. So is feedback.
One session can help; a 6-session series over 6–12 weeks often creates steadier change. We’ll track mobility and pain levels, teach the body a new baseline of safety, and reduce rebound under stress.
Do I have to do intraoral?
No. It’s gentle, gloved, and optional. I’ll walk you through it; you lead the pace.
Is this like the dentist?
No drills, no rush. This is trauma-informed, consent-led bodywork with continuous check-ins.
Will it fix TMJ for good?
TMJ is multifactorial. Massage doesn’t “cure” it, but consistent sessions can reduce flare-ups, ease pain, and improve function.
Can this help my neck/shoulders?
Yes. Jaw patterns are deeply connected with cervical and shoulder tension—many clients feel relief throughout the upper body.
What should I wear?
Undress to your comfort for table work, but always maintain professional draping.
