If you’ve never had bodywork before (or you’ve had experiences that made you nervous about coming back), you’re in the right place.
Every session at Bodywork by Molly moves at the speed of safety. You’ll be informed, supported, and in charge of your own experience from start to finish.
When you arrive, we’ll begin with a short intake conversation — this is where we talk through what’s been going on in your body, your goals for the session, and any boundaries or preferences you have.
You’ll have options for how you’d like to receive your session:
Disrobing to your comfort level, covered by professional draping at all times (only the area being worked on is uncovered).
Fully clothed, on a padded floor mat. Great if you prefer more movement, stretching, or staying clothed.
Throughout the session, I’ll check in about pressure, temperature, and comfort — and you’re always welcome to speak up or make changes at any time.
Afterwards, we’ll talk briefly about aftercare — hydration, rest, and what sensations to expect as your body integrates the work.
For your first appointment, please arrive 5–10 minutes early to use the restroom, complete any quick paperwork, and settle in before we begin.
Your nervous system deserves a calm start.
For table sessions: Undress to your comfort level. Most clients undress fully or keep their undergarments on; sheets and a blanket will always cover you.
For Thai-Stretch Fusion: Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing you can move in — leggings, joggers, or gym shorts are perfect.
If you’re unsure, we’ll talk it through when you arrive.
That’s completely normal. Many of my clients are brand new to massage, or they’re returning after a not-so-great experience.
You’ll always be met with curiosity, consent, and care — never pressure to do anything that doesn’t feel right.
You can pause, stop, or change direction anytime. Your “no” is welcome here.
You can talk as much or as little as you like. Please let me know if you need:
More or less pressure
A blanket or temperature change
A different position or stretch angle
A moment to pause or breathe
This is your session — I’m simply your guide.
The studio is located at 414 Baxter Ave, Suite 205, Louisville, KY.
Parking is free and easy. Enter through Door 2, head upstairs, and turn right.
You’ll see restrooms on your right and a cozy waiting area with a couch straight ahead. Make yourself comfortable, then text me to let me know you’ve arrived — I’ll come greet you.
If you’re neurodivergent, touch-averse, or sensitive to sound, light, or scent, we’ll co-create a session that feels safe for your system. You can request:
Quiet or no-talk sessions
Weighted blankets or extra grounding time
No music or scent-free space
Dim lighting or an eye mask
I’m happy to adjust any sensory element — regulation begins with choice.
Menstruation, pregnancy, or recovery: Totally fine to come in! Just let me know so I can adapt your session.
Illness: Please reschedule if you’re contagious or running a fever (see full policy on the Policies page).
Forms: New clients complete a short intake before their session — I’ll send it via text or email after booking.
Cancellations: 24-hour notice required; see full details on the Policies page.
Draping: You’ll be covered the entire time; only the area being worked on is uncovered.
This isn’t a spa. It’s bodywork for the nervous system.
Sessions are slow, intentional, and collaborative — designed to help your body feel safe enough to release.
Yes. All of it is welcome.
Tears, laughter, stillness, sleep — they’re all part of how the body processes release.
I don’t currently bill insurance. Package options are available for clients wanting consistent care.
Full details can be found on the Policies & Packages page.
Your body already knows how to heal.
Together, we’ll simply make space for it to remember.
